Background
Anika M. Patel works on end reason filtering in native DNA nanopore sequencing, which the Athey Lab presented at the 2025 DCMB Retreat and carried into its end reason manuscript, and on the targeted long-read sequencing and pharmacometabolic profiling of 75 breast cancer patients shown at the 2026 Omenn Symposium. She also works on the lab's long-read telomere sequencing.
