Background
Haoran (Henry) Li leads the Athey Lab's agentic infrastructure, the pipeline and provenance layer its long-read genomics work runs on, and mentors a UROP project on building it. He works on SMA- seq, the fine-tuning of basecalling models, laboratory automation, and long-read telomere sequencing. Li also worked on the targeted long-read sequencing of breast cancer patients presented at the lab's 2026 Omenn Symposium poster, and on its end reason study.
