Background
Joaquin Negro joined the Athey Lab for the 2026 fall semester, studying biomedical engineering with a minor in artificial intelligence. The training covers both dry-lab analysis and wet-lab protocols. He works on the lab's Golden Gate cloning platform and its CLC fragment analysis assay.
