Background
Mia Monroe's work is the measurement of empirical accuracy in single-molecule sequencing against sequence-defined DNA standards, which the Athey Lab presented at the 2026 Omenn Symposium. She works on SMA-seq, the CLC fragment analysis assay, and long-read telomere sequencing.
