Background
Ari Allyn-Feuer earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at the University of Michigan in the Athey Lab in 2018, supported by an NIH predoctoral training grant. The dissertation, "The Pharmacoepigenomics Informatics Pipeline and H-GREEN Hi-C Compiler", built an integrative multiple omics pipeline for discovering causative regulatory variants with the epigenome and the spatial genome, and applied it to warfarin pharmacogenomics. Related work with the lab mapped noncoding variants associated with psychotropic drug response, traced central nervous system drug pathways through the topography and dynamics of the 4D Nucleome, and defined a glutamatergic network mediating lithium response in bipolar disorder. Allyn-Feuer is now Director of Artificial Intelligence Product and an Associate Fellow at GSK.
